If you are finding it hard to buy food

Mid Surrey Community Fridges is currently delivering dozens of food bags a week in the Fetcham area. To access their help you must be referred by a body such as Social Services, an NHS doctor, or someone else in your community. More details at https://midsurreycommunityfridges.co.uk

Surrey County Council Community Helpline: 0300 200 1008 available Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 2pm.

The phone line is intended:

  1. To help direct residents who need support, if friends and family are unable to help with such things as picking up shopping, prescription collections or having someone who can be a telephone friend, and other services that can help.
  2. To provide advice on where to register your offer of help to support your community.

Food delivery from Fetcham village shops

Greenwise has started a delivery scheme, boxes of fresh veg and store cupboard food direct to your door.  It is currently open for orders from new customers at https://fetchemcupboard.co.uk/ Tel: 01372 200914

William Dyer (pies and ready meals) remains open, but has also begun a delivery service for the elderly and vulnerable.  Call 01372 878828 by 4pm the day before.

Take away food

Harringtons Sandwiches has reopened 8am - 2pm. Deliveries are available to customers who are self-isolating. Call 01372 362379.

The Fetcham Tandoori is open for collection and delivery, card payment only.  Tel: 01372 374927

Surrey Spice is offering reduced opening hours Wednesday to Sunday 5.30 – 9 pm  01372 386969

Pharmacies

Boots,  Cobham Road, is operating slightly reduced opening times.  It opens at 10 am, closing for lunch from 1 – 2 pm, and closing as normal 6pm (5.30 Sat and closed Sunday).

Cannon Court Pharmacy is opening Monday to Friday 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm, except Wednesday 9am – 1pm only.  Closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Other village shops

Tailor and Clean, the dry cleaners and alterations business, is operating reduced opening hours from 9am to 2pm.

The Kit Shop is offering free delivery on any gym /sports equipment to help keep you and your children fit, healthy and entertained over the coming days and weeks.  The shop is closed but if you want anything call Andy on 07850 060755.  

Dolittles Pet Supplies is offering a no-contact delivery service. Orders can be telephoned (361566) through and either delivered or collected from the shop.

Next door, the vets Pet Doctors (379636) have a small staff working 8.30am-7pm, Monday to Friday, primarily for emergencies. They are also offering telephone consultations to determine if they can treat your pet remotely, or whether a visit to the surgery is required.
