Countryside car parks reopen

From Wednesday May 13th the countryside car parks, including those serving Norbury Park, reopened. This will remove the need for visitors to park in surrounding roads.

This is the full statement as published on the Surrey County Council website:

"We will have reopened all countryside car parks by Wednesday 13 May 2020, in line with the latest government guidance.

Residents and visitors will be able to park for free, as car parking charges were removed on the 1 April.

It is important, however, that residents and visitors still follow government advice. This includes being alert, maintaining social distancing, and staying at home if you're shielded or over 70.

Residents with any concerns whilst on site can contact Surrey Police.

Please note the public toilets at Newlands Corner and Ockham Common, which are managed by the café operators, will remain closed for the time being."
