LEATHERHEAD & FETCHAM FLOOD ACTION GROUP
Part of the National Flood Forum website LAFFAG was formed in 2016, its aim to be a focus for the residents in the area on Flooding and Resilience. Their website provides information and useful links to agencies involved with flood prevention, as well as coping if the worst happens and your are flooded. Flooding is always possible and prevention is better than cure. If you have concerns about flooding, from how to protect your own property to future flood prevention plans for the district, the Group would be very pleased to hear from you, discuss your concerns and if necessary put your questions to the relevant agencies.
LAFFAG stemmed from a group of Cannon Grove and Cannon Way residents who came together to communicate and share communal information in the aftermath of the terrible flooding in December of 2013, when many parts of Fetcham and Surrey were significantly flooded.
